Known for his high pitched voices and comedic facial expressions, Tommy Davidson went mainstream partly from his stand-up jokes in Robert Townsend’s 1988 HBO special, “Take No Prisoners.” He went on to perform on the television show “In Living Color,” and was featured in such films as “Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls,” “Pulp Fiction,” and 2009’s “Black Dynamite.”
