With his writing partner Hawk Ostby, screenwriter Mark Fergus earned an Oscar-nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay for the 2007 motion picture "Children of Men." Around the same time, Fergus made his directorial debut with "First Snow," a dramatic thriller starring Guy Pearce. He then went on to write the screenplay for the 2008 box-office hit, "Iron Man," starring Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow. Next we will see Fergus’ screen adaptation of "Cowboys and Aliens," a 2006 graphic novel series based on alien conquerors planning to quash and enslave humanity in the mid-1800’s.
