Billy Bob Thornton has established himself as an acclaimed actor, screenwriter, director and singer. His rise to fame began in the mid-1990’s, after writing, directing, and starring in the film Sling Blade, for which he took home the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. Thornton has also starred in other well-known films such as Primary Colors, Armageddon, and Pushing Tin. He also directed his screen adaptation, All the Pretty Horses.
