synopsis
Will Montgomery, an American soldier who just returned from Iraq, is assigned to the Army’s Casuality Notifcation service. Partnered with another officer, he delivers tragic news to soldier’s families. The film shows the emotional range of these outwardly strong heroes and reveals their fragility with compassion and dignity. Directed by Oren Moverman and stars Ben Foster, Samantha Morton and Woody Harrelson.
